Mike Simmons has over 40 years of experience in commercial litigation and construction litigation. He has represented numerous insurers and the Superintendent of Insurance of the State of New York in fidelity, surety, and subrogation matters.
Mike has successfully pursued multi-million-dollar claims arising out of tax-shelter investments and construction-delay claims, and has recovered funds from dishonest employees, other malefactors, accounting firms, and banks. He has also negotiated complex completion contracts on public and private construction projects and has been involved with the liquidation of the assets of failed construction contractors. Mike’s experience includes negotiations with municipal agencies and large corporate entities.
